Christianity vs Mormonism

Does Religion matter? Of course it does. Look at Obama and his understanding of the Bible as professed by Reverend Wright. What kind of President did Obama turn out to be? At least a Socialist, if not a down right Communist. Obama put forth Socialist ideals and had Communist China lend the USA the money.

Now we are expected to believe that Governor Romney will not use his distorted Christianity (Mormonism) to make decisions. I am not sure about this. See the article on Christianity vs Mormonism.

Mormonism and Christianity are both Abrahamic religions. Historically, although Mormons consider themselves to be Christians, Mormonism has had an uneasy relationship with traditional Christianity such as the Roman Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church, and most branches of Protestantism. This is primarily because adherents to Mormonism claim that the movement is a “restoration” of the earliest Christian and Judaic doctrines. Mormonism is considered to have branched from Christianity itself but differs on their status of God and their beliefs. 1. I’m guessing you’re atheist?

    • NO, I am a born-again christian. I believe in the Bible and not another Holy Book. Look at the chart in the linked article and you will see what I believe.

      • Oh, okay. How do you back up the fact you’re right and Mormons are wrong?

      • I believe what is in the Bible. Believing something not written is called ‘faith’. Let me ask you if it would be OK with you if someone ran and became present that was a Muslim? What about a Radical Muslim? When the president is on his/hers knees praying to God, I would prefer getting a pure Christian response.

  2. Fair enough. I agree Mormons are ridiculous, I just wanted some insight as to how you drew the lines and where. Thanks for your response.
